A 1960s Vulcain Centenary, gold-plated and sunburst dial
The round gold-plated case measures 35mm in diameter and 9.4mm thick. Its short lugs, with a Lug-to-lug of 37.6mm, take the strap with an 18mm Lug width. The caseback is steel.
The light dial is sunburst: its fine striations radiate from the centre and make the light shift with every movement of the wrist. Applied markers mark the hours, and the double-faceted dauphine hands are legible against this background. The dial and hands are original.
Vulcain, a Swiss house founded in 1858, signs this watch from the Centenary line. It is powered by a Swiss hand-wound mechanical movement, wound each day by the crown.
The gold-tone crown has been replaced. The watch is fitted on a taupe leather strap, closed by a gold-tone Buckle pin buckle. With a 35mm diameter and 9.4mm thickness, it can be worn on a man's wrist as well as a feminine wrist.

What is a sunburst dial?
A dial whose surface is striated with fine lines radiating from the centre. Depending on the angle, the light moves across the dial like a rotating reflection. On this piece, it is original.
How do you wind this watch?
Each day, using the crown, by turning until you feel resistance, without forcing. With the crown pulled out, it allows the time to be set. Regular winding, at the same time each day, helps keep the movement running consistently.
Are the crown and strap original?
No. The gold-tone crown has been replaced, and the taupe leather strap and its Buckle pin buckle have been fitted as replacements; the 18mm Lug width makes it easy to change the strap. The dial and hands are original.
Is this watch suitable for a feminine wrist?
Yes. With a 35mm diameter, 37.6mm Lug-to-lug, and 9.4mm thickness, it can be worn equally well on a men's or women's wrist.
How do delivery and payment work?
The piece is shipped with tracking and insurance by a trusted carrier, to a collection point or home address depending on the destination. Delivery is free.

After-sales service is free. Shipping fees outside the United Arab Emirates remain the responsibility of the customer.
Authentication Process
Each watch is examined by our partner watchmakers before being offered for sale: verification of authenticity, checking the conformity of the components, identification of any modification or replacement of original parts.
If any element has been replaced during the life of the watch (dial, hands, crown, Crystal, strap), we systematically indicate it in the product sheet. You buy knowing the exact history of your piece.
Certificate of Authenticity
Your Atelier Victor invoice serves as a certificate of authenticity: it attests to the origin and conformity of the piece, and is covered by our lifetime authenticity guarantee — if a piece sold by Atelier Victor were found to be non-authentic, it would be fully refunded, with no time limit.
Free delivery
Delivery is free on all our pieces internationally. Dispatch within 48 to 72 business hours by DHL Express, Emirates Post, EMS or an equivalent carrier depending on the destination, delivery within 2 to 14 business days. Each shipment is insured and delivered against signature.
