Questions Fréquentes

Each piece we select undergoes a rigorous authentication process. For every purchase, we issue an official invoice serving as a lifetime authenticity guarantee. Whether it is a watch, a luxury bag, or a piece of jewelry, we stand behind the origin and compliance of our pieces on a permanent basis.

Transparency is at the heart of our approach. A luxury purchase, particularly in vintage, requires complete clarity:

Customs fees: for international shipments, any customs fees are the buyer's responsibility, and we always specify this.

Condition of the piece: each listing describes the item's condition in detail, to avoid any surprises upon receipt.

Technical specifications: whether it is the movement of a watch or the material of a bag, all specifications are stated with precision.

Warranty and final sales: our warranties and the final nature of our sales are clearly set out on each product page and in our terms.

Our team remains available for any clarification, before and after your order.

Several options are available directly at checkout on our website:

Bank card: secure payment in euros (€), directly on the site.

PayPal: fast and secure solution, with the option of paying in 4 installments (purchases up to €2,000).

Bank transfer, crypto, or other currency: to pay by bank transfer, in cryptocurrency or in another currency (AED, USD, etc.), place your order normally on the site, then select the corresponding option at checkout (« Bank Transfer Payment », « Crypto Payment » or « Other Currency »).

Yes. You can benefit from 4 interest-free installments by selecting PayPal when placing your order.

Amount: option available for purchases up to €2,000.

Given the unique nature of our pieces, we do not offer a reservation system.

First come, first served: our pieces are available only for immediate purchase. A piece is considered held only once payment has been completed or the bank transfer initiated.

Real-time availability: as long as a piece displays « Add to cart », it is available; as soon as a sale is confirmed, it automatically changes to « Sold out ».

Manual payments: in the case of payment by bank transfer, cryptocurrency or other currency, the piece is put on hold for 48 hours maximum after your first contact. After this period, and without proof of payment, it is put back on sale.

The selection is the heart of our profession — we leave nothing to chance:

An international network of experts: we source watches, bags, and accessories from trusted professional partners around the world.

Rigorous selection: each piece is individually chosen according to a strict code of requirements — condition, authenticity, rarity. We favor items with authentic patina and unique character.

Systematic technical expertise: before any item is offered for sale, each one is inspected by our experts. For watches, this includes analysis of the movement and verification of the consistency of the serial numbers.

We do not provide an independent certificate. In the world of luxury and vintage watchmaking, such a document only has real value if it comes directly from the manufacturer (in the form of an archive extract, for example).

As a company subject to United Arab Emirates law, we are bound by a strict duty of compliance: the official invoice Atelier Victor that accompanies your order is fully authoritative and includes a lifetime authenticity guarantee.

If you wish, you can later contact the brand directly: most major maisons offer an authentication or archive service (often for a fee) for collector's pieces.

No. Atelier Victor is an independent house specializing in the selection and sale of exceptional pieces. We source our vintage models from all over the world according to strict quality and authenticity criteria.

We are in no way affiliated, associated, or authorized by the luxury brands we offer for sale.

All vintage pre-owned watches offered on our site are rigorously checked by our watchmaking experts, to ensure that each timepiece is authentic and as described.

As professionals, we stand behind our work: your official invoice serves as a lifetime authenticity guarantee.

Authenticity does not rely on a paper document, but on the object itself. Each watch undergoes a thorough technical appraisal: opening the case to inspect the movement, verifying the consistency of the serial numbers, and analyzing the finishing under a loupe. Your purchase is systematically accompanied by our official invoice, which serves as a lifetime authenticity guarantee.

Each piece is carefully inspected and tested before being offered for sale. All our watches are guaranteed for 12 months, whether they are automatic, hand-wound, or quartz.

This guarantee covers the proper functioning of the movement.

Vintage watches are historical pieces of great delicacy, requiring special care in daily use.

Our 12-month mechanical warranty covers exclusively the proper functioning of the movement. It therefore does not apply in the following cases:

Wear of external components: Crystal, crown, pushers, bracelet and Buckle are wearable parts (consumables) and are not covered. For quartz watches, battery replacement is also part of routine maintenance and is not covered.

Exposure to water and humidity: by nature, vintage watches no longer offer any guarantee of water resistance.

Shocks and strong vibrations: damage linked to impacts or intense and repeated vibrations (cycling, motorcycling, tennis, etc.).

Magnetization: exposure to magnetic fields (speakers, smartphones, magnets) that may disrupt the movement.

Opening by a third party: case opened or intervention carried out by a third party — even a professional watchmaker — without our prior approval.

Improper use: any malfunction resulting from negligence or mishandling.

If you have any doubt about the correct steps to take, contact our team: we will advise you on the optimal maintenance of your timepiece.

Yes. We never use catalogue photos or illustrative images: each watch is individually photographed from several angles so that you can appreciate its actual condition and patina.

Our high-definition lighting tends to bring out the slightest micro-scratches, which are often much more visible in photos than to the naked eye. This is a deliberate choice, in the service of honest information about the condition of the piece.

If in doubt, or if you would like to see it from another angle, ask us for a personalized video: we will send it to you via WhatsApp.

It can sometimes be difficult to visualize the dimensions of a vintage piece without trying it on. To help you assess the actual fit, here is a simple method:

Compare the measurements: compare the wrist size of the model shown in our photos with your own. We generally indicate this information in the description as a reference point.

Measure your wrist: using a soft measuring tape (or a string that you then measure), take your exact wrist circumference. You will then be able to appreciate the case opening relative to your build.

Request a personalized video: nothing replaces movement and natural light. Contact us on WhatsApp, and we will send you a video of the watch being worn from different angles.

As a precaution, we consider that vintage or pre-owned watches are not water-resistant, even if they carried that mention at the time. Over time, cases may develop micro-porosities.

We recommend avoiding any contact with water (showering, swimming, heavy rain) in order to preserve the movement and the other components.

The charm of an old watch lies in its period mechanical heart. Its precision, however, depends on the technology of its movement: most vintage calibres were designed with a tolerance of around +/- 30 seconds per day. Demanding modern chronometric rigor from a collector's timepiece is therefore difficult, if not technically impossible.

A sudden offset can also be caused by a magnetic field (smartphone, speaker, magnet): this is harmless and can be corrected in a few minutes by simple demagnetization by a watchmaker.

Our commitment, in full transparency:

Precision adjustment: before each shipment, we carry out a meticulous adjustment to optimize the performance of your watch, without being able to guarantee accuracy to the second.

Timegrapher data: upon request, we provide you with the readings taken on the Timegrapher (professional measuring device), which reflect the movement's actual performance at the time of preparation.

Personalized advice: for any specific requirement regarding a model's precision, contact us before purchase so we can discuss it.

Warranty: an offset deemed abnormal in light of the model and its calibre is covered after assessment by our teams.

We source rare pieces from every corner of the world, most of which have crossed the decades. For this reason, our models rarely arrive as a « Full Set ». When a watch comes with its original box and papers, this information is clearly stated in the description.

For all other pieces, we systematically provide:

Our official invoice, which constitutes a lifetime authenticity guarantee.

A quality protective case (or a Pouch), ideal for storage or gifting.

We estimate the date of each piece after thorough research: analysis of the serial number, the reference, or any other technical element that helps place it in time.

An important clarification: for watches without papers, our estimate generally corresponds to the year of manufacture, not the year of commercial release. This approach brings us as close as possible to the true history of the piece.

Yes. For the vast majority of our watches, the strap can be replaced to adopt a new style. We offer a selection of straps sold separately, allowing you to personalize your piece according to your tastes.

Upon request, we install your new strap before shipment of your order.

Most of our pieces were made several decades ago. To preserve their mechanism, a few precautions are necessary:

Water resistance: avoid any contact with water. The water resistance of a vintage watch is no longer guaranteed over time.

Environment: protect your watch from shocks, strong vibrations, and magnetic fields (smartphones, speakers, magnets), which can disrupt the movement.

Maintenance: have your watch checked every 3 years by a qualified watchmaker to ensure its longevity.

If your quartz watch stops, have the battery replaced quickly by a qualified watchmaker or jeweler near you.

It is important not to leave a used battery inside the mechanism for an extended period: over time and with temperature fluctuations, it may leak or oxidize (electrolyte leakage) and cause lasting damage to the movement. Regular maintenance by a professional preserves the longevity of your piece.

Yes. The same rigor we apply to watchmaking extends to our entire catalog. Each vintage handbag (Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, etc.), like every small leather goods piece, is inspected and authenticated by our experts before being listed online.

Your purchase is accompanied by our official invoice, which serves as a lifetime authenticity guarantee. We stand behind the origin and conformity of every piece we select.

We select our luxury leather goods with the utmost standards. As with any pre-owned item, our pieces may show slight traces of time, which bear witness to their history and add to their charm.

The exact condition of each bag, Wallet, or accessory is described in detail in its listing, supported by HD photos. Every detail is made visible so that you can appreciate the patina and quality of the piece before purchase.

An exceptional leather goods piece lives with you, but requires a few attentions to stand the test of time. To preserve the supple leather and the lustre of the metal parts (clasps, chains, logos):

Storage: when you are not carrying it, keep your bag in its protective pouch (dustbag), away from direct light and humidity.

Precautions: avoid any contact with water, perfumes, cosmetics, and hydroalcoholic solutions, which may alter the finishes.

Shape: for structured bags, stuff them with neutral tissue paper to maintain their original silhouette.

Authenticity and metal quality are at the heart of our approach. For each piece, we apply consistent rigor:

Official hallmarking: all our bracelets and Jewelry in precious metals are systematically hallmarked. This hallmark officially certifies the metal fineness (925 silver, 18k gold, etc.).

Lifetime authenticity guarantee: each piece of jewelry is delivered with a detailed invoice, which stands as lifetime proof of its conformity and authenticity.

Independent laboratory certificate (optional): upon request and at an additional cost, we arrange for an expert certificate from an independent gemology laboratory in Dubai.

We entrust the making of our creations to renowned artisans in Italy, Spain, Sri Lanka, and Dubai.

Each piece then joins our workshops in the United Arab Emirates, where sizing and finishing are carried out by our partner jewelers. This final stage ensures a jewel with a perfect drape, checked before shipping.

For optimal comfort, measure your wrist circumference using a measuring tape, then add an allowance according to your style preference:

+ 1 cm for a snug fit.

+ 1.5 cm for a looser, more relaxed fit.

Our bespoke service: by selecting the “Bespoke” option when placing your order, our master jewelers proceed with the personalized resizing of your piece. Please allow up to 7 days maximum for these artisanal finishes in Dubai before shipment.

925 silver is a living metal, which may develop a patina over time — this is completely normal. Regular cleaning with a soft cloth is enough to restore its full luster.

Almost nothing to change: the opening was already short and clear. I only merged the three sentences into two for fluidity.

Gold is a noble metal par excellence. Unlike silver, it does not oxidize and does not change color — which makes it one of the most durable choices for your collection.

To preserve the brilliance of our creations, designed in Italy and handcrafted in Dubai, here are a few tips:

Everyday care: contact with skin or cosmetics may leave a slight film on the surface. Occasional cleaning with lukewarm soapy water, using a very soft brush, is enough to restore its shine.

Drying: always dry your piece with a soft cloth (type polishing cloth) to avoid micro-scratches.

Properly cared for, gold retains its structure and brilliance over time.

The elegance of a fine mesh calls for delicate handling. Whether in gold or 925 silver, the rule is simple: the finer the jewel, the more attention it requires.

Points to watch: the clasps and the loops (link rings) are precision components. Discreet and aesthetically refined by design, they are all the more sensitive to sudden pulls and snagging.

Craftsmanship: each piece is finished artisanally in Dubai. This savoir-faire ensures the best possible strength for delicate structures, without making them unbreakable against excessive force.

An incident can happen with a delicate piece. We have the necessary expertise to repair your Jewelry in gold or silver. Here is the procedure to follow:

Contact us in advance: before shipping anything, write to us via WhatsApp or e-mail, with detailed photos of the damaged area.

Remote assessment: we analyze the photos to confirm the technical feasibility of the repair and provide you with an estimate of the costs.

Shipping to Dubai: once the repair is agreed, you send us your jewel to Dubai for restoration.

The shipping and repair fees are borne by the customer.

It is entirely possible to adjust the size of your piece to give it the perfect drape. Whether it is in gold or silver, we work on its structure thanks to our partner jewelers in Dubai. Here is the procedure to follow:

Feasibility assessment: depending on the type chain type (fine, curb, or rigid), we add either adjustment rings or extra links. Contact us by WhatsApp or email, with photos of your bracelet to support your request.

Personalized quote: we provide you with an estimate of the intervention cost and the added metal (gold or 925 silver).

Adjustment at the atelier: once the quote is approved, you send us your piece to Dubai. Our artisans ensure that the extension remains invisible and respects the original design.

Yes, we ship worldwide. Whether you are in Europe, the United States, Asia, or the Middle East, we provide secure international shipping, generally within 3 to 5 business days, with insurance and tracking number included for each order.

All our shipments, international and local alike, are entrusted to a leading carrier, ensuring careful and secure handling of your pieces.

As soon as the shipment is dispatched, we send you a personalized tracking number that allows you to track your parcel in real time and anticipate its arrival.

We do everything possible to ensure that you receive your items as quickly as possible. Your order is processed and prepared within 1 to 3 business days.

Once your parcel has been shipped, the delivery time is estimated between 3 and 5 business days. Please note that these are estimates and that these timeframes may be extended depending on destinations, random customs checks, or any other external factor beyond our control.

As soon as your order leaves our offices, you will receive a confirmation email including your tracking number so you can follow your parcel's transit in real time.

Yes, absolutely. For our clients located in Dubai, we offer a same-day courier delivery service (subject to availability and the time of order).

This "minute" service allows you to receive your watch, jewelry piece, or leather goods item within just a few hours at your home, office, or hotel. To benefit from this priority delivery, we invite you to contact us directly by WhatsApp or by phone so we can arrange the shipment as quickly as possible.

All our orders are shipped from our offices located in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. Any taxes and import duties are detailed in our "Taxes & customs fees" section.

Because our pieces have significant value, we favor collection-point delivery whenever this option is available: it considerably reduces the risk of theft compared with an unattended handover.

Delivery is made against presentation of an identity document, ensuring that your order is entrusted to you personally. You will receive all collection instructions by e-mail or SMS as soon as the parcel is made available.

Delivery times may vary depending on your location, exceptional weather conditions, or customs procedures. Here is the procedure to follow:

First check your tracking number (sent when the parcel was dispatched) to locate your shipment in real time. If it is in international transit, a few additional days may be necessary.

If the situation does not change, our advisors are available to open an investigation with the carrier and find a solution.

All our shipments are fully insured, up to the actual value of the piece. In the event of confirmed loss or theft during transit, you are fully covered: we proceed with the full refund of your order.

For our international shipments, local taxes — such as VAT — and any customs duties are not applied at checkout. These import charges are paid directly by the buyer upon delivery, in accordance with the regulations of the destination country. Atelier Victor has no knowledge of these amounts and cannot commit to the applicable taxes, as these fall exclusively under the customs authorities of each country.

The shipping origin of each piece is specified on its product page, to help you anticipate. For full details, please consult our shipping policy.

Customs fees and import taxes are the responsibility of the buyer. If you refuse to pay them to the carrier, the parcel is returned to us or, depending on the case, held and then destroyed by the customs authorities.

When the piece comes back to us, the amount paid will be refunded to you, less all costs incurred: outbound and return shipping fees, abandonment or customs file fees, as well as transaction fees not returned by the payment providers.

When the piece is destroyed or abandoned by customs and is not returned to us, no refund can be issued, as the loss results from the refusal to take delivery.

We therefore invite you to anticipate these import charges before confirming your order.

Customs fees and import taxes are requested by the carrier as soon as the parcel arrives in the destination country.

You will then receive a notification by e-mail or SMS, along with a link allowing for secure online payment before delivery. Depending on local customs procedures, payment may also be made directly to the courier.

Although our pieces are shipped with express delivery, occasional customs inspections may occur and extend the initially expected delivery time.

These procedures are beyond our control: Atelier Victor cannot be held responsible for delays attributable to the customs authorities of the destination country.

Yes. When importing valuable items — watches, fine leather goods, Jewelry — the customs authorities of the destination country or the carrier may request a copy of your identity document, a tax identification number, or proof of purchase.

It is the buyer’s responsibility to send these documents promptly, so that the parcel can clear customs. Any delay in providing them may extend the delivery time accordingly.

If the documents are not provided within the time limits set by customs, the parcel is returned to us: the return costs are then borne by the buyer and deducted from the refunded amount.

All our sales are final: we do not accept any returns, exchanges, or cancellations once the order has been confirmed.

Each piece is authenticated, inspected, and described in detail — condition, dimensions, and operation — before being offered for sale. Before any purchase, our advisors remain at your disposal to answer your questions and provide additional photographs or videos, so that your choice can be made with complete peace of mind.

In the exceptional case of a non-conforming item compared with its listing, please notify us within 72 hours of receipt; we will then proceed, according to your preference, with a refund or exchange. Signs of wear and the patina described in the listing do not constitute non-conformity, as our vintage pieces are antique objects.

For full details, please consult our return policy.

Our pieces do not come from a standardized catalog: whether they are vintage pieces selected individually or creations by atelier, each one is authenticated, inspected, and documented before being offered for sale, and many of them are unique pieces that we cannot restock.

This rigorous process upstream is precisely what allows us to describe each piece accurately and assist you before purchase. It also justifies the final nature of our sales: the time for decision is before payment — and our advisors are there to dispel your last doubts.

Each listing includes a detailed description of the piece: photographs, condition, dimensions, and operation. We invite you to review it carefully before making any payment.

For any question — a detail, a measurement, the exact condition of a piece — our advisors are at your disposal by email or on WhatsApp, and can send you additional photographs or videos. Our role is to provide you with all the elements for a confident decision, including those that might dissuade you.

Refusing a parcel upon delivery does not constitute either a cancellation or a reason for return: the sale remains final. Unless the parcel is visibly damaged — in which case refusing it is justified — the piece is returned to us and the amount paid is refunded to you, minus all costs incurred (outbound and return shipping, transaction fees, any customs charges). If the parcel is destroyed or abandoned by the authorities and does not return to us, no refund can be issued.

If an item does not match its listing — undisclosed defect, inaccurate feature, reference or model error, unmentioned malfunction —, we invite you to notify us within 72 hours of receipt, with photographs to support it, at hello@ateliervictor.co.

After verification, the item must be returned to us complete, in its original condition, with tracking and insurance. Return shipping costs are covered by Atelier Victor from the United Arab Emirates, and remain at your expense from abroad. A confirmed non-conformity entitles you, according to your preference, to a full refund or an exchange.

Please note: signs of wear and patina described on the listing do not constitute non-conformity, as our vintage pieces are antique objects.

Each package is checked and then sealed by the carrier before shipping. If the packaging shows apparent damage upon delivery, it should be refused from the carrier: the package then remains under their responsibility, which simplifies the handling of the case.

If it could not be refused — for example, if the package was delivered in your absence — or if the damage only becomes apparent upon opening, it is necessary to film the opening in one continuous shot, with the package still sealed at the start of the video. This video and the original packaging are essential for the file with the insurer.

In both cases, we invite you to report the incident to us within 72 hours at hello@ateliervictor.co: we will then take over.

If you encounter a difficulty with one of our timepieces, we invite you to contact us as soon as possible at hello@ateliervictor.co. Each situation is assessed so that we can offer you the appropriate solution.

When a repair or servicing is required, we will send you all the instructions needed to return the piece to us safely.

Transport costs related to a warranty intervention are fully covered from the United Arab Emirates. Internationally, the warranty covers the repair, but outbound and return transport costs remain at your expense.

When the defect falls under our warranty, the repair is covered. If it results from improper use (shock, water exposure, accidental damage), the intervention is not covered and a quote will be provided to you.

We do everything possible to ensure that you get your piece back as quickly as possible. Here is how we manage lead times:

Average time: most interventions are completed within 4 to 8 weeks.

Specific parts: for certain vintage watches, sourcing new old stock original parts (NOS) can be complex and may extend the timeframe. We always prioritize the quality and authenticity of components.

Resolution commitment: if, despite our efforts, the repair were to exceed 10 months, we commit to offering you, according to your preference, a full refund or an exchange.

You are the sole owner of your timepiece and remain free to entrust it to the professional of your choice. However, two clarifications are in order:

Any intervention carried out by a third party is entirely at your expense. Above all, opening the case or any technical handling by a watchmaker outside our services will result in the permanent termination of our warranty.

To preserve your coverage, we recommend that you contact us before any intervention on your piece.
