Men’s stone bracelets: characteristics and materials

Each men’s stone bracelet designed by Atelier Victor combines genuine gemstones with precious metalwork. Worn alone, layered with a 925 silver bracelet, or paired with a vintage watch, our creations meet exacting artisanal standards. These are fully fledged jewelry pieces, not mere fashion accessories.

The precious stones: sapphire, ruby, emerald, and diamond

At the pinnacle of our collection, the four recognized precious stones lend our men’s bracelets a rare and prestigious dimension. Sapphire and ruby, two corundums of exceptional hardness (9 on the Mohs scale), offer a deep blue and an intense red respectively. Emerald, a variety of beryl, captivates with its luminous green hue and distinctive natural inclusions. Diamond, the hardest stone of all, embodies absolute brilliance. Some of our sapphires come from Sri Lanka, one of the historic homes of this gemstone, a guarantee of quality and traceability.

Minerals and gemstones used

Precious stones:

  • Men’s sapphire bracelet — a gemstone from the corundum family, with a deep blue hue, among the hardest stones after diamond.
  • Men’s ruby bracelet — red corundum, the quintessential precious stone, a symbol of strength and character.
  • Men’s emerald bracelet — a variety of beryl with a luminous green hue, one of the most sought-after stones in the world.
  • Men’s diamond bracelet — the hardest stone on the Mohs scale, with unrivalled brilliance and refractive index.

Semi-precious stones:

  • Men’s lapis lazuli bracelet — an opaque blue stone, characterized by its golden pyrite inclusions.
  • Men’s tourmaline bracelet — a fine stone offering a natural chromatic spectrum ranging from pink to green.
  • Men’s peridot bracelet — a magmatic silicate gemstone, with a characteristic olive-green hue.
  • Men’s amber bracelet — fossilized resin with tones ranging from honey to cognac.

Synthetic stone:

  • Men's zirconium bracelet — zirconium oxide, a synthetic stone valued for its brilliance and durability.

The nature of each gemstone (precious, fine, or synthetic) is specified on the corresponding product sheet. Also discover our selection of 18-carat gold bracelets and our complete collection of Jewelry.

Artisanal craftsmanship — Dubai, Italy & Sri Lanka

Assembly is carried out by our partner workshops in Dubai, Italy, and Sri Lanka. The gemstones are set or strung on 925 sterling silver frames, 18-carat gold, or technical cables, depending on the architecture of the jewel. Each piece undergoes an inspection in Dubai before being offered for sale.

Adjustment and measurements

Our men's stone bracelets include a length customization service. Each model is adjusted in atelier to match the circumference of your wrist. The Jewelry are shipped in a rigid protective case.

International shipping & appointments

Shipments are dispatched from our Dubai offices, with tracking and included insurance covering the value of the jewel. Deliveries serve Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North America. Clients present in the United Arab Emirates may schedule a presentation appointment in our Dubai premises.

Frequently Asked Questions — Men's Natural Stone Bracelets

What is the difference between a precious stone and a fine stone?
Strictly speaking, only four stones are classified as “precious”: diamond, ruby, sapphire, and emerald. Other natural gemstones — lapis lazuli, tourmaline, peridot, amber — are “fine stones” (formerly called semi-precious). This distinction lies in their rarity and properties. Our collection offers both, systematically specifying the nature of each stone on its product sheet.

Are the gemstones authentic?
Yes. Sapphire, ruby, emerald, diamond, lapis lazuli, tourmaline, peridot, and amber are all natural stones. Only zirconium oxide is a synthetic component. Each jewel is sold with its invoice and lifetime authenticity guarantee issued by Atelier Victor.

Can these bracelets be worn with a watch?
Yes. The frames and construction of our bracelets are designed to allow them to be worn adjacent to a stainless steel watch case, while limiting the risk of abrasion scratches. The combination of a stone bracelet, a silver bracelet, and a watch is a pairing appreciated by the house's clientele.

How do you determine your wrist circumference?
Use a flexible measuring tape to measure your wrist. For a snug fit, add 5 mm to the measurement obtained; for a looser fit, add 15 mm. A bespoke sizing adjustment requires a 7-day delay in atelier.

What payment methods are accepted?
Atelier Victor accepts payment by credit card, bank transfer, cryptocurrencies, as well as installment payments via PayPal.

For any question regarding a piece of jewelry, our team can be reached via WhatsApp or by email.

Men's Natural Stone Bracelets Guide

18-carat solid gold (750/1000), yellow gold or rose gold, made in Dubai. Snake, cable, paperclip, twisted, ball — men's bracelets designed to be worn alone, stacked, or paired with a vintage watch. Discover our guide: 18K gold, types of chains, pairing with a watch, and maintenance.

18-Carat Gold: The Standard of Jewelry

18-carat gold (noted 750/1000 or 18K) contains 75% pure gold, combined with 25% complementary metals — copper and silver for yellow gold, copper and palladium for rose gold. It is the reference alloy in luxury jewelry, the standard required by the most prestigious houses. Pure gold (24-carat, 999/1000) being too malleable for a bracelet worn daily, these 25% complementary metals provide the hardness and resistance necessary without ever compromising its nobility.

What distinguishes 18-carat gold from gold-plated is fundamental: solid gold is homogeneous throughout its thickness. It does not wear out, does not oxidize, and does not reveal any base metal over time. In contrast, gold-plated is only a thin layer (a few microns) deposited on brass, destined to wear away at friction zones. An 18-carat gold bracelet is a transmissible object, designed to pass through generations without the slightest alteration.

Yellow Gold vs Rose Gold

Yellow gold — The classic, luminous, and solar gold. Its alloy preserves the original color of the precious metal. It is the timeless choice par excellence: an 18K yellow gold retains the same warmth today as it did 50 years ago. It pairs magnificently with yellow gold timepieces (Rolex Day-Date, Cartier Tank Louis, Piaget Polo).

Rose gold — With a more coppery and warm tone, rose gold brings a resolutely contemporary and distinctive touch. It pairs spectacularly with steel watches, the contrast between the cold metal and the warmth of rose gold creating a highly sought-after two-tone effect. The two shades can indeed be layered: combining yellow gold and rose gold on the same wrist is a strong stylistic signature.

Types of Chains

Paperclip Chain

Elongated and geometric links resembling the shape of a paperclip. It is the most contemporary and structured design in our collection. Its clean lines make it the quintessential trendy bracelet, a new classic of men's jewelry.

Snake Chain

Flat and perfectly interlocking links forming a continuous, fluid ribbon with absolute brilliance. This "second skin" effect makes the snake chain the most minimalist choice. Designed to slip under a cuff or accompany a watch discreetly.

Forçat Chain

The alternation of round or oval links makes the forçat chain the timeless classic of gold chains. Robust, with an evident elegance and impervious to fashion trends, it is the default masculine bracelet, adaptable to all situations.

Twisted Chain

Links that coil upon themselves to create a spiral relief and a dynamic play of light. The twisted chain adds texture and an extra touch of soul for a bold masculine style.

Bead Chain

A succession of gold spheres creating an original and luminous design. The bead chain captures light from all angles. Highly distinctive, it excels particularly in stacking with other bracelets or bangles.

The Harmony of Gold Bracelet and Vintage Watch

Pairing a gold bracelet with a vintage watch is the art of living for collectors Atelier Victor:

  • Yellow gold and yellow gold watch — The absolute match. A yellow gold bracelet enhances the shine of a Rolex Datejust or an old Piaget.
  • Rose gold and steel watch — The perfect contrast. Rose gold warms the cold steel for a two-tone effect of the utmost chic, in the spirit of the famous Rolesor watches.
  • Yellow gold and steel watch — The classic mix. Like the famous two-tone models from Omega or Cartier, this blend requires subtlety (opt for a thin bracelet).
  • Layering yellow gold and rose gold — Contemporary stacking. The combination of two thin bracelets in different shades creates a luxurious golden gradient on the wrist.

Our gold bracelets, with a thickness ranging from 1mm to 2.5mm, are proportioned to enhance your timepiece without ever overshadowing it.

Made in Dubai: The World Capital of Gold

Dubai is the historical hub of gold trade and craftsmanship. Our creations are meticulously forged by our partner goldsmiths in Dubai, custodians of ancestral know-how. Each piece is certified 18-carat gold (750/1000), meticulously hallmarked, delivered in its Atelier Victor case, and covered by a lifetime authenticity guarantee.

Maintaining 18-Carat Gold

18-carat gold is the most user-friendly precious metal: it does not oxidize and perfectly resists fresh water.

  • Daily wear — Wear it in the shower or while exercising, 18K gold does not tarnish. The natural friction from regular wear also helps maintain its polish.
  • Cleaning — A little warm water, mild soap, and drying with a microfiber cloth are enough to restore its full shine.
  • Micro-scratches — Light scratches from daily wear are normal and contribute to the jewelry's patina. A professional polishing in atelier will restore its mirror-like finish if desired.
  • Storage — Store your bracelet in its case Atelier Victor to prevent it from rubbing against other metals or hard stones.

Frequently Asked Questions — Men's 18K Gold Bracelets

The water resistance of 18K gold

18K gold is a completely inert metal: it does not react to water or sweat. You can wear your bracelet in the pool, shower, or during sports activities without any fear. This is the absolute strength of solid gold compared to gold-plated.

Difference between 18K and 14K gold

18K gold (750/1000) contains 75% pure gold, compared to only 58.5% for 14K gold (585/1000). 18K gold offers a much richer, noble, and unalterable color. At Atelier Victor, all our creations are exclusively forged in 18K, the supreme standard of fine jewelry.

Pairing a gold bracelet with a steel watch

It's an extremely elegant and sought-after combination. This mix of metals creates a refined contrast that adds warmth to the wrist. The secret to a beautiful pairing lies in the balance of volumes: opt for a thin bracelet in yellow or rose gold to subtly accompany your steel watch.

Choosing between yellow gold and rose gold

Yellow gold is the timeless investment par excellence, solar and timeless. Rose gold, with its coppery reflections, offers a softer and more modern alternative, particularly stunning next to steel. In case of hesitation, yellow gold remains an absolute safe haven.

The strength of thin gold bracelets

Although a bracelet with a thickness of 1mm is logically more delicate than a piece of 2.5mm, the 18K alloy is structurally designed to last. For daily wear including intense physical or manual activities, we nevertheless recommend favoring thicknesses of 1.5mm and above.

Choosing the right bracelet size

Measure your wrist precisely. Add 0.5cm for a snug fit, or 1cm to 1.5cm for more ease. If you have any questions, contact us via WhatsApp for personalized assistance.
