Seiko by Hanae Mori: a reversible two-dial gold-plated watch
This Seiko by Hanae Mori watch is a collector's piece that is as rare as it is elegant, the result of a collaboration between Seiko and the great Japanese haute couture designer Hanae Mori. Its round gold-plated case is reversible: it pivots on its axis, in the manner of a Reverso, to reveal two radically different dials. A singular horological object, both jewel and watch, it can be worn equally on a man's or a woman's wrist.
The first side features a white lacquered dial adorned with black Roman numerals and the "HM" signature, with classic and timeless elegance, framed by a bezel with exposed screws in porthole style. The second side reveals a minimalist black dial with a faceted sunray pattern, enhanced by the sole gold "HM" signature, in a decidedly graphic and dressy spirit — day and night, in a way, brought together in the same watch. Each side has its own hands.
This Seiko is powered by a dual quartz movement (caliber 2N20): each side has its own movement and its own crown, allowing the time of each dial to be set independently. Reliable and precise, it carries forward Seiko's legacy as a pioneer of quartz with the 1969 Astron. The reversible mechanism has been tested and works perfectly.
With its 30mm case in gold plate and its ingenious reversible system, this Seiko by Hanae Mori offers a dressy and refined format, on a man's or a woman's wrist — a true Unisex watch. The two original dials are immaculate; the case shows light micro-scratches from wear and the Crystal has a few scratches on the black side. It is delivered on a black handmade alligator leather strap, not original, with a gold-tone Buckle.

Hanae Mori (1926-2022) is one of the greatest Japanese haute couture designers, the first Asian admitted to the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture in Paris. Her horological creations, produced by Seiko under the signature “Seiko by Hanae Mori”, are collector’s pieces sought after for their singular design and rarity.

After-sales service is free. Shipping fees outside the United Arab Emirates remain the responsibility of the customer.

Each watch is examined by our partner watchmakers before being offered for sale: verification of authenticity, checking the conformity of the components, identification of any modification or replacement of original parts.
If any element has been replaced during the life of the watch (dial, hands, crown, Crystal, strap), we systematically indicate it in the product sheet. You buy knowing the exact history of your piece.

Your Atelier Victor invoice serves as a certificate of authenticity: it attests to the origin and conformity of the piece, and is covered by our lifetime authenticity guarantee — if a piece sold by Atelier Victor were found to be non-authentic, it would be fully refunded, with no time limit.
