Omega Seamaster automatic: a vintage steel watch

This Omega Seamaster watch is an elegant vintage automatic steel watch, with a luminous silver dial. Launched in 1948, the Seamaster is one of Omega's oldest collections, renowned for its balance of robustness and elegance. Dated 1976, this dress piece can be worn equally on a man's or a woman's wrist. A Swiss manufacture watch, reliable and timeless, ideal for everyday wear as well as evening occasions.

The silver dial, with its fine linen texture, highlights applied baton markers and the signature “Omega Seamaster Automatic”. At 3 o'clock, a day-date window displays the day of the week and the date, a practical complication for daily use. Three baton hands — hour, minute and seconds — sweep across the dial, beneath the mention “Swiss Made”. A sober, elegant dial, typical of Seamaster from the 1970s.

At the heart of this Omega beats caliber 1020, an automatic manufacture movement produced by the brand in the 1970s. Equipped with quickset day and date, it is renowned for its robustness and reliability. Fully serviced, this proven caliber ensures precise daily operation — an asset appreciated by lovers of vintage Omega.

With its 34.3mm case in steel, this vintage watch offers a versatile format, elegant on the wrist of both men and women — a true Unisex watch. The original silver dial is very well preserved; the hands show a slight patina and the steel some fine signs of wear, consistent with its age and disclosed with full transparency. The Crystal crystal is in very good condition (9/10). It is delivered on its original steel bracelet (adjustable, additional links available on request).
