Watch Lip Vintage Tank Salmon Dial (1970s)
This vintage watch Lip, proudly made in France in the 1970s, is a magnificent illustration of form watch design. Its rectangular gold-plated case is inspired by the famous "Tank" silhouette, but stands out with beautifully worked ends in gadroons (horizontal relief lines) that give it a strong Art Deco touch, surprisingly sophisticated for its decade of production.
The real highlight is its magnificent salmon-colored dial, enhanced with a vertically striped finish (tapestry effect). This shade, particularly rare and sought after by collectors, offers a captivating visual contrast with the golden case and elegant black hands. The Arabic numerals positioned at the cardinal points (3, 6, 9, 12) ensure clear reading and add to the charm of this luxury pre-owned watch.
Powered by a manual winding movement, this Lip features very contained proportions (18mm wide by 29.5mm Lug-to-lug). After-sales service is free. Shipping fees outside the United Arab Emirates remain the responsibility of the customer.
Authentication Process
Each watch is examined by our partner watchmakers before being offered for sale: verification of authenticity, checking the conformity of the components, identification of any modification or replacement of original parts.
If any element has been replaced during the life of the watch (dial, hands, crown, Crystal, strap), we systematically indicate it in the product sheet. You buy knowing the exact history of your piece.
Certificate of Authenticity
Your Atelier Victor invoice serves as a certificate of authenticity: it attests to the origin and conformity of the piece, and is covered by our lifetime authenticity guarantee — if a piece sold by Atelier Victor were found to be non-authentic, it would be fully refunded, with no time limit.
