NB: Most of our vintage watches were made decades ago, so it is good to remember that our watches remain objects that must be taken care of to maintain their proper functioning. It is absolutely necessary to avoid water, shocks, and vibrations.
Furthermore, a majority of old cases are not anti-magnetic. Consequently, strong magnetic fields, even from high bodily magnetism, can disrupt some movements by causing them to gain or lose time.
