NB: Most of our vintages were made decades ago, so it's good to remember that our watches remain objects that need to be taken care of to maintain their proper functioning. Avoid water, shocks, and vibrations at all costs.
Furthermore, a majority of old cases are not anti-magnetic. Consequently, strong magnetic fields, even from high bodily magnetism, can disrupt certain movements causing them to run fast or slow.
