The 25 mm-wide rectangular case measures 6 mm thick. Its polished bezel, cut with bevels at the four corners, frames the Crystal like a mirrored frame; the short, faceted lugs extend the caseband without interruption. The gold plating, patinated by time along the edges, retains its shine on the polished surfaces. The steel caseback bears the piece's reference.
The gold-tone dial features a sunburst finish that shifts with the light. Twelve applied gold-tone baton markers, highlighted with a black line and doubled at 12 o'clock, surround the dial with a dotted minute track. The black baton hands and slender centre seconds stand out in contrast. The Seiko signature is printed below 12 o'clock, the word Spirit above 6 o'clock, with no window or other inscription.
The calibre 7N01 is a Japanese three-hand quartz movement, without date, produced by Seiko from the 1990s onward. The serial number places production in July, with the year estimated as 1997.
The original gold-tone crown is set into the caseband at 3 o'clock. The watch is fitted with a brown crocodile-embossed leather strap and a steel Buckle, both not original. With 34 mm Lug-to-lug, it can be worn on a man's wrist as well as a woman's wrist, as a dress watch in a restrained format.

What is the Seiko Spirit line?
Spirit is a line of dress watches distributed by Seiko, mainly for the Japanese market, around quartz calibres. We do not attribute to this piece any history that we cannot verify.
Is the case solid gold?
No, the case is gold-plated over a steel back. The plating shows patina born of time on the edges, visible in the photos.
Is the strap original?
No. The brown crocodile-embossed leather strap and its steel Buckle were fitted as replacements; the 18 mm Lug width allows for easy changing.
Is this watch suitable for a woman's wrist?
Yes. At 25 mm wide, 34 mm Lug-to-lug and 6 mm thick, it can be worn equally well on a man's or a woman's wrist.

Delivery is free on all our pieces internationally. Dispatch within 48 to 72 business hours by DHL Express, Emirates Post, EMS or an equivalent carrier depending on the destination, delivery within 2 to 14 business days. Each shipment is insured and delivered against signature.
