Seiko Vintage Quartz: a two-tone dress watch with Roman numerals
This Vintage Seiko Quartz watch is an elegant dress piece with a two-tone tonneau case, combining stainless steel and gold-plating, enhanced by a Clous de Paris bezel and a cream-white dial with Roman numerals. Slim and refined, it embodies the understated elegance of Japanese dress watches. In a versatile size, it wears just as well on a man's wrist as on a woman's. The cream-white dial highlights classic black Roman numerals for a clear, dressy readout. The “Seiko Quartz” signature appears at 3 o'clock, while slender black tapered hands glide over the whole. It is above all the gold-plated bezel that defines the character of the piece: fully guilloché with a fine grid motif, it catches the light and frames the dial in a precious setting, contrasting with the steel case. A sober and luminous ensemble, in the grand tradition of Japanese dress watches.
This Seiko is powered by a quartz movement from the brand, reliable and precise, battery-powered. Seiko, a pioneer of quartz with the 1969 Astron, is renowned for the quality and longevity of its calibres.
