A Seiko from 1990, gold-plated and with a Roman dial with red XII
The ivory dial is read in two zones: an outer ring of black Roman numerals, the XII alone in red, and a lighter central area, outlined by a golden line. Between the two runs a 13-to-24-hour scale in small numerals, and a railway minute track borders the whole.
The black leaf hands indicate the hours and minutes, a fine gold-tone seconds hand sweeps across the dial, and a window at 6 o'clock displays the date. The Seiko Quartz signature is placed below 12 o'clock. Dial and hands are original.
The gold-plated case forms a rectangle with rounded corners, 28mm wide, 37mm lug-to-lug and 6.5mm thick. Its polished bezel frames the dial; the gold-tone crown sits at 3 o'clock and the caseback is steel.
The watch is powered by the Seiko 5Y32 quartz calibre; the serial number engraved on the caseback dates its manufacture to March 1990. It is fitted with a green crocodile leather strap, fastened by a gold-tone pin buckle, whose deep green echoes the gold of the case.

How is this watch dated?
By its serial number, engraved on the caseback. At Seiko, the first digit indicates the year within the decade and the second the month: 03•••• corresponds here to March 1990, a period consistent with the 5Y32 calibre.
What are the small numbers on the dial for?
They form a 13 to 24-hour scale, placed inside the Roman numerals: it allows the time to be read in 24-hour format. The window at 6 o'clock displays the date.
Is the strap original?
No. The green crocodile leather strap and its gold-tone pin buckle were fitted as replacements, as was the crown; the Lug width of 18mm allows the strap to be changed. The dial and hands are original.
Is this watch suitable for a slim or large wrist?
At 28mm wide, 37mm Lug-to-lug and 6.5mm thick, it can be worn on a man's wrist as well as a woman's wrist, and slips under a cuff.
How do delivery and payment work?

After-sales service is free. Shipping fees outside the United Arab Emirates remain the responsibility of the customer.

Each watch is examined by our partner watchmakers before being offered for sale: verification of authenticity, checking the conformity of the components, identification of any modification or replacement of original parts.

Free delivery
Delivery is free on all our pieces internationally. Dispatch within 48 to 72 business hours by DHL Express, Emirates Post, EMS or an equivalent carrier depending on the destination, delivery within 2 to 14 business days. Each shipment is insured and delivered against signature.
