A 1988 Seiko Quartz, frosted bezel and linen dial
The 32.5 mm round case measures 6.5 mm thick. Its bezel has a frosted finish, grained like fine sand, cut at each hour by a polished notch extending the dial markers. The faceted lugs and polished case band frame this matte ring. The gold plating, patinated by time on the edges, retains its shine on the polished surfaces. The steel caseback bears the piece's reference.
The champagne dial features a linen texture, woven from fine intersecting lines that change with the light. Twelve black baton markers, doubled at 12 o'clock, and two black leaf hands ensure legibility; a framed date window opens at 3 o'clock. The Seiko Quartz signature is printed below 12 o'clock, the line emblem above 6 o'clock.
Calibre 2639 is a Japanese quartz movement with two jewels, two hands and date. A new battery has been fitted. The serial number dates production to October 1988.
The gold-tone crown, a replacement, sits in the case band at 3 o'clock. The watch is fitted on a green crocodile-embossed leather strap with Buckle steel pin buckle, both not original. With 37 mm of Lug-to-lug, it can be worn on a men's wrist as well as a women's wrist.

Is the case solid gold?
No, the case is gold-plated over a steel back. The plating shows patina born of time on the edges, and the case has a few marks from wear, visible in the photos.
Is the crown original?
No. The crown is a replacement gold-tone part, matched to the case. It controls the time-setting and date adjustment.
Why does the watch not have a seconds hand?
The 2639 calibre is a two-hand quartz with date, designed for slim dress watches. We attribute no history to this piece that we cannot verify.
Is this watch suitable for a woman's wrist?
Yes. With a diameter of 32.5 mm, 37 mm Lug-to-lug, and a thickness of 6.5 mm, it wears equally well on a man's or woman's wrist.
How do shipping and payment work?
The piece is shipped by DHL Express or equivalent, with tracking and insurance. Shipping costs are complimentary from €1,000 order value; otherwise €20 for Europe and €40 internationally; taxes and customs duties remain the responsibility of the buyer outside the area. Payment by bank transfer benefits from a 3% discount.
Mechanical warranty — 1 year
Each watch is inspected by our watchmakers before shipping. In case of a mechanism malfunction during the first year, we cover the repair.

After-sales service is free. Shipping fees outside the United Arab Emirates remain the responsibility of the customer.

Free delivery
Delivery is free on all our pieces internationally. Dispatch within 48 to 72 business hours by DHL Express, Emirates Post, EMS or an equivalent carrier depending on the destination, delivery within 2 to 14 business days. Each shipment is insured and delivered against signature.
