Seiko octagonal: a vintage dress watch for men and women
This vintage Seiko watch appeals with its octagonal gold-plated case, a rectangular silhouette with beveled angles in Tank spirit. Particularly slim, it can be worn just as well on the wrist of a man or a woman. The white dial embraces classicism with elegant Roman numerals in black, framed by a double inner railway track that structures legibility. At the heart of this Seiko watch beats the caliber 9021, an ultra-thin analog quartz movement produced by the manufacture (Suwa factory) in the 1980s. Equipped with hacking function (seconds hand stop for precise time-setting), it drives the hours, minutes, and seconds. A quartz watch offers greater precision than most mechanical watches: a simple battery is enough to power it for years, without mechanical servicing.
With its 25.5mm-wide case and a profile of only 5.5mm, this vintage watch can be worn just as well on the wrist of a man or a woman — a true unisex watch, perfectly suited to slim to medium wrists. The original dial and the Crystal crystal are in very fine condition. It is delivered on a black crocodile leather strap, not original, with a steel pin buckle.
