A rectangular gold-plated Seiko Spirit, champagne linen-texture dial
The rectangular case, 26 mm wide, measures 6 mm thick. Its polished bezel, with four rounded corners, frames the Crystal in a continuous surround; the short lugs extend the caseband without interruption. The gold plating, patinated by time along the edges, retains its lustre on the polished surfaces. The steel caseback bears the piece reference.
The champagne dial features a woven texture, known as linen, which catches the light without reflecting it. Twelve applied gold-tone baton markers, doubled at 12 o'clock, encircle the dial with a fine hash minute track. The gold-tone dauphine hands and slender centre seconds hand are read tone on tone. The word Spirit is printed below 12 o'clock, the Seiko signature above 6 o'clock, with no aperture or other inscription.
The calibre 5E21 is a Japanese three-hand quartz movement, with no date. The serial number places production in October, with the year estimated at 2004.
The original gold-tone crown is set into the caseband at 3 o'clock. The watch is fitted with a black crocodile-embossed leather strap with Buckle steel, both not original. With a 36 mm Lug-to-lug, it can be worn on a man's wrist as well as a woman's wrist, as a dress watch in a restrained format.

What is the Seiko Spirit line?
Spirit is a line of dress watches distributed by Seiko, mainly on the Japanese market, built around quartz calibres. We attribute no history to this piece that we cannot verify.
Is the case solid gold?
No, the case is gold-plated with a steel back. The plating shows patina born of time on the edges, visible in the photos.
Is the strap original?
No. The black crocodile-embossed leather strap and its steel Buckle were fitted as replacements; the 17 mm Lug width allows for easy changing.
Is this watch suitable for a woman's wrist?

After-sales service is free. Shipping fees outside the United Arab Emirates remain the responsibility of the customer.

Free delivery
Delivery is free on all our pieces internationally. Dispatch within 48 to 72 business hours by DHL Express, Emirates Post, EMS or an equivalent carrier depending on the destination, delivery within 2 to 14 business days. Each shipment is insured and delivered against signature.
