Atelier Note

A white dial with applied markers, black hands and the SilverWave signature above 6 o'clock. An October 1982 Seiko, on its original steel bracelet. Checked, delivered with its Atelier Victor invoice serving as a certificate.

A 1982 Seiko SilverWave, white dial and original steel bracelet

The white dial features applied steel baton markers, doubled at 12 o'clock. The Seiko Quartz signature occupies the top of the dial; at the bottom, the line's emblem sits above the SilverWave name, written in cursive. The black hands and fine seconds hand stand out clearly against this light background. Dial and hands are original.

At 3 o'clock, a window displays the day and date; the day disc is bilingual and can be set in English or kanji, a layout specific to Seiko watches intended for the Japanese market. The watch is powered by the quartz calibre Seiko 8229; the serial number engraved on the caseback dates its production to October 1982.

The round steel case measures 36.5mm in diameter, 41mm Lug-to-lug and 9.5mm thick. The lugs hold the bracelet on an 18mm Lug width, the steel crown is positioned at 3 o'clock and the back is steel.

The watch has retained its original steel bracelet, closed by a signed Seiko folding clasp Buckle, adjustable up to a 17.5cm wrist size. At 36.5mm in diameter, it can be worn on a man's wrist as well as a woman's wrist.
