Atelier Note
A faceted steel case, a polished round bezel and a clean white dial, signed Silverwave. A Seiko from 1980, on its original integrated bracelet. Checked, delivered with its Atelier Victor invoice serving as a certificate.
A 1980 Seiko Silverwave, faceted case and white dial
The steel case measures 35.5mm in diameter and 8.5mm thick. Its sides are cut into sharp facets around a polished round bezel, and the bracelet extends the case seamlessly, with a 39.5mm Lug-to-lug. The steel crown is original. The caseback is steel.
The white dial has black baton markers, doubled at 12 o'clock, and a fine minute track around its edge. The Seiko Quartz signature sits at the top of the dial; at the bottom, the Silverwave emblem appears above the signature in cursive lettering. The black hands and fine centre seconds stand out clearly against this light background. Dial and hands are original.
Silverwave is a line of Seiko quartz watches from the late 1970s and early 1980s. This piece is powered by the Seiko 7121 calibre; the serial number engraved on the caseback dates production to June 1980.
The watch has retained its original steel bracelet, integrated into the case, and its folding clasp; it adjusts to a wrist of around 17.5cm. With a 35.5mm diameter and 8.5mm thickness, it can be worn on a men's wrist as well as a women's wrist.
Three points to note

02
