Seiko Noie Baignoire: a dress watch in steel with a white Breguet dial

This Seiko Noie watch is a delicate dress piece with a steel case in Baignoire shape and a lacquered white dial with Breguet Arabic numerals. From the feminine Noie collection by Seiko, it stands out for its soft, slender oval silhouette, enhanced by blued hands. Its compact size makes it an ideal watch for a slender wrist. A sober and refined Japanese piece, perfect for everyday wear as well as evening occasions.

The white dial highlights elegant Breguet-style Arabic numerals, the Seiko signature at 12 o'clock, and the discreet hexagonal gold "N" logo of the Noie line at 6 o'clock. Fine blued hands sweep across the dial, adding a touch of elegance and a lovely contrast against the light background. A clear, luminous reading in the great tradition of dress watches.

This Seiko is powered by the 1F21 quartz caliber, a reliable and precise analog movement that equipped the brand's dress women's lines. It runs on a battery and continues Seiko's legacy as a quartz pioneer with the 1969 Astron. A controlled movement, guaranteeing precise everyday operation without burdensome mechanical servicing.

With its 21mm case, slim profile, and polished steel Baignoire shape, this watch offers a delicate, dressy size, ideal for a slender wrist. The original white dial is immaculate, the blued hands are intact, and the Crystal is in very fine condition. It is fitted on a black handmade leather strap, non-original, with a steel Buckle.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Seiko Noie line?
The Noie is a women's collection from Seiko, which appeared in the catalog in 1995. Its name is the acronym of “Noble, Original, Intelligent, Elegant.” It stands out for its softly contoured cases, classic Arabic numerals, and a dressy, accessorized spirit, designed for a refined female clientele.

What is a baignoire-shaped case?
The baignoire shape refers to an elongated oval case with vertical proportions, its gentle curves evoking a bathtub. Elegant and feminine, this dress watch shape sits beautifully on the wrist and gives the watch a true personality.

What does the “N” logo on the dial mean?
The small gilded hexagonal “N” logo, positioned at 6 o'clock, is the signature of the Seiko Noie line. It is an original detail, characteristic of this collection, authenticating its belonging.

What are “Breguet” numerals?
The so-called “Breguet” Arabic numerals are slender, stylized numerals inherited from the watches of the celebrated watchmaker Abraham-Louis Breguet. Highly prized on dress watches, they bring a touch of classical, timeless elegance to the dial.

Is this watch suitable for a small wrist?
Yes, absolutely. With a 21mm-wide baignoire case and a slender profile, it is a delicately proportioned watch, ideal for a slim wrist. Its soft silhouette and white dial with Breguet numerals make it an especially elegant dress piece.
