This vintage Seiko Baignoire watch, produced around 2004, focuses on what makes a fine dress watch: perfect legibility served by understated elegance. The Baignoire shape — that vertical oval silhouette popularized by Cartier in the 1950s — hugs the wrist with a distinctly feminine softness. The gold-plated case with sculpted lugs shaped like petals frames the oval dial, while the contained 6.9 mm profile ensures a light wear, like a jewel one forgets is there.
On the white lacquered dial, the black Breguet Arabic numerals converse with blue hands, whose deep hue delicately animates the whole — a color detail that breaks the sobriety without ever betraying it.
