A gold-plated Seiko tonneau, champagne dial and cabochon crown
The 27 mm wide tonneau case softens the rectangle with slightly curved sides and rounded corners. Its polished bezel, gently sloping toward the Crystal, extends short lugs that hold the strap. The gold plating, patinated by time along the edges, retains its shine on the flat surfaces. The steel caseback bears the piece's reference.
The champagne dial, finely grained, features twelve applied gold-tone baton markers; the one at 12 o'clock, in black, serves as the marker. A dotted minute track surrounds the dial. The gold-tone dauphine hands and slender centre seconds are read tone on tone. The Seiko signature is printed below 12 o'clock, with no other inscription or window.
The 7N01 calibre is a three-hand Japanese quartz movement, without date, produced by Seiko from the 1990s onward. A new battery has been fitted. The serial number places production in February, with the year estimated at 1991.
The gold-tone crown, topped with a dark cabochon, sits in the caseband at 3 o'clock. The watch is fitted on a black crocodile-embossed leather strap with Buckle steel pin buckle, both not original. With 35.5 mm lug-to-lug and 9 mm thickness, it can be worn on a man's wrist as well as a woman's wrist.

Is the case solid gold?
No, the case is gold-plated over a steel back. The plating shows patina born of time on the edges, visible in the photos. We do not attribute to this piece any history that we cannot verify.
What is meant by a tonneau case?
A case whose sides are curved and whose corners are rounded, between a rectangle and an oval, like the silhouette of a tonneau seen from the front.
Has the battery been changed?
Yes. A new battery has been fitted; the movement is working. A quartz watch of this type does not require periodic maintenance beyond battery replacement.
Is this watch suitable for a woman's wrist?
Yes. At 27 mm wide, 35.5 mm Lug-to-lug and 9 mm thick, it can be worn equally well on a man's or a woman's wrist.
How do delivery and payment work?
The piece is shipped by DHL Express or equivalent, with tracking and insurance. Shipping is free from €1,000 of order value, otherwise €20 for Europe and €40 internationally; taxes and customs duties remain the responsibility of the buyer outside the area. Payment by bank transfer benefits from a 3% discount.

After-sales service is free. Shipping fees outside the United Arab Emirates remain the responsibility of the customer.

Delivery is free on all our pieces internationally. Dispatch within 48 to 72 business hours by DHL Express, Emirates Post, EMS or an equivalent carrier depending on the destination, delivery within 2 to 14 business days. Each shipment is insured and delivered against signature.
