The 30mm cushion case is 6mm thick. Its rounded, polished gold-plated bezel follows the shape of the Crystal; the sides extend into tapered lugs that receive the strap with an 18mm Lug width. The steel caseback bears the piece's reference.
The champagne dial features a vertical brushing that catches the light depending on the angle. Applied gold-tone baton markers, doubled at 12 o'clock, mark its perimeter, framed by a dotted minute track. The dark baton hands, outlined in gold, and the slender gold-tone centre seconds hand stand out in contrast. The Seiko Quartz signature is printed below 12 o'clock; no date window.
The calibre 7431 is a Japanese quartz movement with two jewels and centre seconds. The serial number places production in August, with the year estimated as 1986.
The original gold-tone crown is set into the caseband at 3 o'clock. The watch is fitted on a black crocodile leather strap with a gold-tone Buckle pin buckle. With a 38mm Lug-to-lug, it can be worn on a man's wrist as well as a woman's wrist.

The dial bears only the Seiko Quartz signature, without a line name; reference 7431-5240 is engraved on the caseback. We do not attribute any history to this piece that we cannot verify.
The dial indicates 7431-5300: is that the correct reference?
Yes. At Seiko, the code printed at the bottom of the dial is the one for the dial itself. The watch reference is engraved on the caseback, here 7431-5240: the first group designates the calibre, the second the case.
Is the strap original?
No. The black crocodile leather strap and its gold-tone pin buckle were fitted as replacements; the 18mm Lug width allows for easy changing.
Is this watch suitable for a female wrist?

After-sales service is free. Shipping fees outside the United Arab Emirates remain the responsibility of the customer.

Each watch is examined by our partner watchmakers before being offered for sale: verification of authenticity, checking the conformity of the components, identification of any modification or replacement of original parts.

Free delivery
Delivery is free on all our pieces internationally. Dispatch within 48 to 72 business hours by DHL Express, Emirates Post, EMS or an equivalent carrier depending on the destination, delivery within 2 to 14 business days. Each shipment is insured and delivered against signature.
