An extra-thin gold-plated Seiko, white dial with Roman numerals
The 35 mm round case is no more than 4.7 mm thick: the polished bezel runs directly down to the Crystal, the fine lugs extend the case middle without interruption. The gold plating, patinated by time on the edges and bezel, keeps its reflections to the polished surfaces. The steel caseback bears the piece reference.
The white dial is printed with twelve black Roman numerals, arranged around a railway minute track punctuated with gold-tone dots. Two slender black leaf hands, with no seconds hand, are easy to read against this background. The Seiko Quartz signature is printed below 12 o'clock, the dial code at the bottom of the dial, at 6 o'clock.
The calibre 5E20 is a two-hand Japanese quartz movement, with no date, allowing for this restrained thickness. The serial number places production in July 1993. A new battery has been fitted.
The gold-tone crown, topped with a black cabochon, sits in the case middle at 3 o'clock. The watch is fitted on a dark brown lizard-style leather strap with Buckle steel pin buckle, both not original. With a 41 mm Lug-to-lug, it can be worn on a man's wrist as well as on a woman's wrist.

No, the case is gold-plated over a steel back. The plating shows patina born of time on the edges, visible in the photos.
Why does the watch not have a seconds hand?
The 5E20 caliber is a two-hand quartz movement, designed for slim dress watches. The absence of a seconds hand and date window allows for the 4.7 mm thickness.
Has the battery been changed?
Yes. A new battery has been fitted; the movement is running. A quartz of this type does not require periodic maintenance beyond battery replacement.
Is this watch suitable for a woman's wrist?
Yes. With a 35 mm diameter, 41 mm Lug-to-lug and 4.7 mm thickness, it wears equally well on a man's or woman's wrist.
How do delivery and payment work?
The piece is shipped by DHL Express or equivalent, with tracking and insurance. After-sales service is free. Shipping fees outside the United Arab Emirates remain the responsibility of the customer.

Free delivery
Delivery is free on all our pieces internationally. Dispatch within 48 to 72 business hours by DHL Express, Emirates Post, EMS or an equivalent carrier depending on the destination, delivery within 2 to 14 business days. Each shipment is insured and delivered against signature.
