A 1984 ladies' Seiko, carrée gold-plated with stone-set lugs
The gold-plated case forms a square with softened corners measuring 19.5mm wide, 26mm Lug-to-lug and 6mm thick. Its lugs curl into scrolls on either side of the dial, and two of them feature small white stones, diamonds or simulants, to be confirmed. The gold-tone crown sits at 3 o'clock; the caseback is steel.
The champagne dial, with a grained finish, features gold-tone baton markers and the Seiko Quartz signature below 12 o'clock. The gold-tone hands stand out against this warm background, echoing the tone of the case. Dial and hands are original.
The watch is powered by the Seiko 5421 quartz calibre; the serial number engraved on the caseback dates its manufacture to May 1984. It is fitted on a handmade black leather strap, with a scale pattern, fastened by a gold-tone pin Buckle. At 19.5mm wide, it is suited to a slim wrist, in the manner of a piece of jewellery.

Are the stones on the lugs diamonds?
The small white stones set on two lugs are not accompanied by a certificate: they may be diamonds or simulants, to be confirmed.
How is this watch dated?
By its serial number, engraved on the caseback. At Seiko, the first digit indicates the year within the decade and the second the month: 45•••• corresponds here to May 1984, a period consistent with calibre 5421.
Is the strap original?
No. The handmade black leather strap and its gold-tone pin buckle were fitted as replacements; the Lug width of 10mm allows the strap to be changed. The dial, hands and crown are original.
What wrist size does this watch suit?
At 19.5mm wide, 26mm Lug-to-lug and 6mm thick, it is a ladies' format, designed for slim wrists.

After-sales service is free. Shipping fees outside the United Arab Emirates remain the responsibility of the customer.
Authentication Process
Each watch is examined by our partner watchmakers before being offered for sale: verification of authenticity, checking the conformity of the components, identification of any modification or replacement of original parts.
If any element has been replaced during the life of the watch (dial, hands, crown, Crystal, strap), we systematically indicate it in the product sheet. You buy knowing the exact history of your piece.
Certificate of Authenticity
Your Atelier Victor invoice serves as a certificate of authenticity: it attests to the origin and conformity of the piece, and is covered by our lifetime authenticity guarantee — if a piece sold by Atelier Victor were found to be non-authentic, it would be fully refunded, with no time limit.
Free delivery
Delivery is free on all our pieces internationally. Dispatch within 48 to 72 business hours by DHL Express, Emirates Post, EMS or an equivalent carrier depending on the destination, delivery within 2 to 14 business days. Each shipment is insured and delivered against signature.
