A 1977 steel quartz Seiko with cushion case and Roman numeral dial
The 33 mm cushion case measures 7.8 mm thick. Its polished bezel, with rounded angles, frames a Crystal of the same shape; the case sides flare towards short, wide lugs that receive the strap. The polished steel retains its shine across the entire case. The steel caseback bears the reference of the piece.
The white dial has twelve black Roman numerals, in a heavy font, following the contour of the case. Two tapered black leaf hands provide the reading; no seconds hand, no aperture. The Seiko Quartz signature is printed below 12 o'clock, a stylised emblem above 6 o'clock.
Calibre 43, launched in 1975 by Daini Seikosha, one of Seiko's manufactures, belongs to the brand's early generations of quartz. The serial number places production in January, the year being estimated as 1977.
The original steel crown is set into the caseband at 3 o'clock. The watch is fitted on a green lizard leather strap with Buckle steel, both not original. With 35.5 mm lug-to-lug, it can be worn on a man's wrist as well as on a woman's wrist.

Frequently asked questions
What is Daini Seikosha?
One of the manufactures of the Seiko group, which designed caliber 43 launched in 1975. The dial bears no line name, only the Seiko Quartz signature. We do not attribute to this piece any history that we cannot verify.
The dial says 43-0600: is that the correct reference?
Yes. At Seiko, the code printed at the bottom of the dial is that of the dial itself. The watch reference is engraved on the caseback, here 43-7110: the first group designates the caliber, the second the case.
Why is there no seconds hand?
This version of caliber 43 drives only the hours and minutes: the dial remains uncluttered around the Roman numerals.
Is the strap original?
No. The green lizard leather strap and its Buckle steel have been fitted as replacements; the 19 mm Lug width allows easy changing.
How do delivery and payment work?
The piece is shipped with tracking and insurance by a trusted carrier, to a collection point or home address depending on the destination. Delivery is free. Taxes and customs duties remain the responsibility of the buyer outside the area.

After-sales service is free. Shipping fees outside the United Arab Emirates remain the responsibility of the customer.

Free delivery
Delivery is free on all our pieces internationally. Dispatch within 48 to 72 business hours by DHL Express, Emirates Post, EMS or an equivalent carrier depending on the destination, delivery within 2 to 14 business days. Each shipment is insured and delivered against signature.
