A 1991 ladies' Seiko with a gold-plated oval case and blued hands
The elongated oval case, 21mm wide, measures 7mm thick. Its rounded, polished gold-plated bezel follows the shape of the Crystal; the curved sides extend into short lugs that hold the strap on a 12mm Lug width. The steel caseback bears the reference of the piece.
The white dial has developed a soft patina over time, ivory-toned in places. Twelve black Arabic numerals follow its oval outline. The blued baton hands and fine centre seconds stand out against the light background. The Seiko signature is printed below 12 o'clock; no date window.
The calibre 1F21 is a Japanese quartz Seiko movement designed for ladies' watches. The serial number places production in April, with the year estimated at 1991.
The original fluted gold-tone crown is set into the caseband at 3 o'clock. The watch has retained its original brown leather strap and its gold-tone pin buckle Buckle, also original. With a 33.5mm Lug-to-lug, it wears like a piece of jewellery on a slim wrist.

Which Seiko line does this watch belong to?
The dial bears only the Seiko signature, with no line name; reference 1F21-0BP0 is engraved on the caseback. We do not attribute to this piece any history that we cannot verify.
Can the original strap be worn daily?
It is original, like its Buckle, and it is leather more than thirty years old: it should be worn with care. The 12mm Lug width allows a new strap to be fitted for daily use while preserving the original.
The dial bears a different code from the caseback: is that normal?
Yes. At Seiko, the code printed at the bottom of the dial is that of the dial itself. The watch reference is engraved on the caseback, here 1F21-0BP0: the first group designates the calibre, the second the case.
