An octagonal gold-plated Seiko, ivory lacquered bezel and white dial
The 24.5 mm octagonal case measures 5.2 mm thick. Its wide eight-sided bezel, lacquered in ivory, frames the Crystal; a fine gold-tone line separates it from the dial, another borders it on the caseband side. The short, straight, gold-plated lugs hold the strap. The steel caseback bears the piece's reference.
The white dial features an applied gold-tone Roman XII and eleven fine gold-tone baton markers, following the sides of the case. The tapered gold-tone hands and the slender centre seconds hand are read tone on tone. The Seiko Quartz signature is printed below 12 o'clock; no aperture.
Calibre 1221 is a two-jewel Japanese quartz movement. The serial number places production in March, with the year estimated at 1984.
The original fluted gold-tone crown is set into the caseband at 3 o'clock. The watch is fitted with a black leather strap with scaled grain and a gold-tone pin buckle Buckle, both not original. With 30 mm of Lug-to-lug and 12 mm of Lug width, it suits a feminine wrist.

Frequently asked questions
The dial shows 1221-0460: is that the correct reference?
Yes. At Seiko, the code printed at the bottom of the dial is that of the dial itself. The watch reference is engraved on the caseback, here 1221-5300: the first group indicates the calibre, the second the case. We do not attribute to this piece any history that we cannot verify.
Is the case solid gold?
No, the case is gold-plated, marked SGP, on a steel back, and the bezel is lacquered. The plating retains its lustre on the polished surfaces, visible in the photos.
Is the bezel lacquer original?
Yes. The ivory lacquered bezel is the one from the watch, with its two gold-tone lines; its tone is visible in the photos, without retouching.
Is the strap original?
No. The black leather strap with scaled grain and its gold-tone Buckle were fitted as replacements; the 12 mm Lug width requires a narrow strap.
How do delivery and payment work?
The piece is shipped with tracking and insurance by a trusted carrier, to a collection point or home address depending on the destination. Delivery is free. Taxes and customs duties remain the responsibility of the buyer outside the area.

The accuracy of vintage watches varies according to the model, movement, and year of production. A request for accuracy improvement deemed within acceptable tolerances cannot be covered by the warranty.

After-sales service is free. Shipping fees outside the United Arab Emirates remain the responsibility of the customer.

Each watch is examined by our partner watchmakers before being offered for sale: verification of authenticity, checking the conformity of the components, identification of any modification or replacement of original parts.
If any element has been replaced during the life of the watch (dial, hands, crown, Crystal, strap), we systematically indicate it in the product sheet. You buy knowing the exact history of your piece.

Free delivery
Delivery is free on all our pieces internationally. Dispatch within 48 to 72 business hours by DHL Express, Emirates Post, EMS or an equivalent carrier depending on the destination, delivery within 2 to 14 business days. Each shipment is insured and delivered against signature.
