A vintage Charles Vögele watch from the 1990s, with integrated mesh bracelet and blue dial
This vintage Charles Vögele watch comes from the Swiss fashion house of the same name, whose watches from the 1990s followed the dress style of the period: slim cases, integrated bracelets, dark dials. This one combines all three. The movement is a quartz, caliber Seiko VX21, with hours, minutes and centre seconds.
The midnight blue dial is original. Twelve set markers — diamonds or simulants, to be confirmed — mark the hours and give the dial its only points of light; the rest of the surface remains plain, with no numerals or railway minute track. The steel hands are original, and so is the centre seconds hand.
The case measures 31mm in diameter and 6.8mm thick, with a platinum-plated finish and a steel caseback. The mesh bracelet, in the same finish, is integrated: it extends from the case with no visible lugs, which gives the watch a continuous line on the wrist and a reduced Lug-to-lug of 31mm. It is original, adjustable, with its original clasp engraved with the logo.
The quartz movement has been checked by our partner watchmakers and carries a 1-year guarantee. The Crystal is sapphire, a rare presence on a fashion watch from this period: it does not scratch in normal wear, which explains its 9/10 rating after thirty years.

What is an integrated bracelet?
A bracelet designed with the case and fixed directly to it, without visible lugs or spring bars. The line is continuous from the dial to the clasp and the watch appears slimmer on the wrist. The trade-off: it cannot be replaced with a standard bracelet. This one is original, adjustable, and its clasp bears the engraved logo.
Are the markers diamonds?
We do not state that without a certificate. The twelve markers are set stones, diamonds or simulants, to be confirmed. What is certain: they are all present, securely set, and it is their sparkle against the midnight blue that defines the dial, whatever their nature.
What do we know about Charles Vögele?
A Swiss fashion house whose watches were produced in the dress style of the 1990s with Japanese quartz movements. This one bears a Seiko VX21 calibre. We do not attribute to this piece any history we cannot verify: what it has to offer lies in its design, its sapphire Crystal, and its condition.
