Alba (Seiko) vintage: a moonphase watch with a bronze case
This Alba vintage watch, signed by the sub-brand of Seiko, is a charming dress piece equipped with a true moonphase complication. Its bronze-colored case, warm and patinated, paired with a cream dial with Arabic numerals and a starry moonphase aperture, gives it a strongly romantic and vintage character. The ivory cream dial highlights fine black Arabic numerals and a railroad minute track. At 12 o'clock, the moonphase display — in a deep midnight blue sprinkled with stars and a golden moon — evolves through the lunar cycle, accompanied by a moon age scale (up to 29½ days). A date window is placed at 6 o'clock. Fine gold and black hands glide over the whole, for a clear and poetic reading. A delightful dial, which pairs beautifully with the bronze tone of the case.
