Seiko gold-plated: the extra-thin round dress watch with sand gold dial
This Seiko watch is a round dress watch, unisex, worn equally well by a man or a woman, with great restraint. Its round gold-plated case, with a thin bezel and tapered lugs, embodies a warm and timeless classicism. It measures 32mm (34.5mm with the crown) for a Lug-to-lug of 38mm and a thickness of only 6mm. The gold dial reveals a beautiful sand-finished texture, matte and satin-brushed, which catches the light softly. Applied gold baton hour markers mark its perimeter, beneath the sole SEIKO signature, in a design of elegant restraint. It is a dial whose surface has a fine matte, granular texture, obtained by sandblasting rather than being smooth or glossy. This finish catches the light softly and brings subtle depth to the dial. On this Seiko, it lends all its subtlety to the gold dial.
Is the Seiko 7N01 caliber reliable?
Yes. The 7N01 is a three-hand dress quartz movement, renowned for its reliability. Its maintenance is extremely simple: a battery change by any watchmaker is sufficient. The movement of this example has been checked by our watchmaker and is guaranteed for 1 year.
Is the case solid gold?
No: it is a gold-plated case with a steel back, a common construction on Seiko dress watches. The plating brings the warmth and brilliance of gold for a fraction of its price. This case shows signs of wear typical of a vintage piece.
Is this Seiko water-resistant?
No. Water resistance is never guaranteed on a vintage watch: the original gaskets have aged and the pressure of the case back is no longer what it was on day one. Avoid the shower, the pool, and the sea. Simple contact with rainwater, however, does not pose any difficulty.
What wrist does this watch suit?

The accuracy of vintage watches varies according to the model, movement, and year of production. A request for accuracy improvement deemed within acceptable tolerances cannot be covered by the warranty.
Shipping fees
After-sales service is free. Shipping fees outside the United Arab Emirates remain the responsibility of the customer.
Authentication Process
Each watch is examined by our partner watchmakers before being offered for sale: verification of authenticity, checking the conformity of the components, identification of any modification or replacement of original parts.
If any element has been replaced during the life of the watch (dial, hands, crown, Crystal, strap), we systematically indicate it in the product sheet. You buy knowing the exact history of your piece.
Certificate of Authenticity
Your Atelier Victor invoice serves as a certificate of authenticity: it attests to the origin and conformity of the piece, and is covered by our lifetime authenticity guarantee — if a piece sold by Atelier Victor were found to be non-authentic, it would be fully refunded, with no time limit.
