About the brand :
Raketa is a Russian watch brand created in 1961 on the initiative of the Soviet government, with the aim of producing watches for the army and the space industry. Raketa watches were highly appreciated for their precision, robustness and reliability, and were worn by Soviet cosmonauts on historic space missions.
