Omega Seamaster Polaris — Titanium, 18k Gold and Genta Signature
Launched in the early 1980s, the Omega Seamaster Polaris is one of the maison’s boldest creations. It is owed to Gérald Genta, the creator of the greatest integrated-bracelet watches of the era, who gave it its fluid silhouette and instantly recognizable character. Dated 1989, this example fully embodies the sporty-chic spirit of this decade, amid a horological effervescence in full swing.
Its singularity lies in its materials: a brushed titanium case — light, matte, resilient — enhanced by a 18k yellow gold inlay on the bezel and bracelet. This titanium-gold marriage, rare and precious, was presented at the time by Omega as the alliance of space-age technology and jewelry-making tradition. A contrast of materials that few watches dared to embrace.
The original anthracite gray dial, punctuated by luminous round indexes and cream hands, asserts understated elegance. The Omega quartz movement (caliber 1441) ensures reliable everyday precision, with a date function at 3 o’clock and central seconds hand. The integrated titanium bracelet with a satin finish extends the case design with fluidity.
An Omega vintage with a strong and timeless design, for the collector seeking an authentic Genta piece or the enthusiast of a watch with a well-defined DNA. Selected, authenticated and serviced by Atelier Victor. Fast and secure international shipping.
