Omega Century 121.014: a vintage 18k yellow gold watch with small seconds

This vintage Omega Century watch, reference 121.014, is an elegant dress piece in 18-carat yellow gold, with a sunburst gilt dial. Originally launched to mark the centenary of the manufacture, the Century line illustrates Omega's most classic and refined approach. Dated 1964, this hand-wound mechanical watch can be worn equally on a man's or a woman's wrist. A Swiss piece in precious metal, timeless and full of character.

The gilt dial with a sunburst finish highlights fine applied baton indexes and the "Omega Century" signature beneath the omega symbol. At 6 o'clock, a small seconds counter with a cross marker animates the dial, in the purest dress spirit of the 1960s. Fine gilt hands glide over the whole, for clear and luminous readability. A sober and precious dial, typical of Swiss watchmaking elegance of the period.

At the heart of this Omega beats the calibre 269, a manufacture hand-wound mechanical movement, renowned for its meticulous finishing and reliability. Equipped with small seconds, it represents traditional Swiss savoir-faire in all its purity. Fully serviced, this calibre ensures regular daily performance — an asset appreciated by lovers of vintage Omega.

With its 33mm case in 18k yellow gold with a slender profile (7.3mm), this vintage watch offers restrained and elegant proportions, on the wrist of a man or a woman — a true Unisex watch. The original dial and hands are in very fine condition; the Crystal shows a few fine scratches (7/10). It is delivered on a black leather strap, not original, with a Buckle pin buckle.
