Omega Century 121.014: a vintage 18k yellow gold watch with small seconds

This vintage Omega Century watch, reference 121.014, is an elegant dress piece in 18-carat yellow gold, with a sunburst gilt dial. Originally launched to mark the centenary of the manufacture, the Century line embodies Omega’s most classic and refined approach. Dated 1964, this hand-wound mechanical watch is equally suited to a man’s or a woman’s wrist. A Swiss timepiece in precious metal, timeless and full of character.

The gilt dial with its sunburst finish highlights slender applied baton indexes and the “Omega Century” signature beneath the omega symbol. At 6 o’clock, a small seconds counter with a crosshair marker animates the dial, in the purest dress-watch spirit of the 1960s. Fine gilt hands sweep across the whole, for a clear and luminous reading. A sober and precious dial, typical of the Swiss horological elegance of the era.

At the heart of this Omega beats the calibre 269, a hand-wound mechanical movement of manufacture, renowned for its meticulous finish and reliability. Equipped with small seconds, it embodies traditional Swiss savoir-faire in its purest form. Fully serviced, this calibre ensures regular daily performance — a quality prized by vintage Omega enthusiasts.

With its 33mm case in 18k yellow gold with a slim profile (7.3mm), this vintage watch offers restrained and elegant proportions, on the wrist of a man or a woman — a true watch Unisex. The original dial and hands are in very fine condition; the acrylic Crystal shows a few fine scratches (7/10). It is delivered on a black leather strap, non-original, with a Buckle buckle.
