A vintage Cronel women's watch from the 1980s, TV steel case with white dial
This vintage Cronel watch bears a discreet signature, a stylized crown as its emblem, and nothing documented behind it: Cronel is one of those small Swiss assembly brands of which watches are known, for men and women, with 17 jewels, but neither the house nor the catalogue. The dial states the essentials, 17 jewels, Shockprotected, Swiss Made: a Swiss lever movement, protected against shocks. And the case does the rest: a TV case, that screen with rounded corners born in the 1970s, here set horizontally, 31mm wide by 28mm high, in mirror-polished steel, beneath a white dial with black markers. A mechanical women's watch with two hands, on its original bracelet.
Its original white dial is crisp and clear: twelve inset black baton markers, two original black baton hands, and no seconds hand. Beneath the stylized crown, Cronel and 17 jewels; above six o'clock, Shockprotected; Swiss Made at the bottom.
The TV steel case, 31mm wide by 28mm Lug-to-lug and 8.3mm thick, is mirror-polished on all sides, with a steel back, an original crown and an acrylic Crystal. The 17-jewel hand-wound mechanical movement has been checked by our partner watchmakers and is guaranteed for one year. The watch is fitted with its original bracelet in black leather, sized for a small wrist, with its original Buckle.

Who is Cronel?
A small Swiss assembly brand, unknown to the reference books: it is known for men's and women's 17-jewel watches, but neither manufacture nor catalogue. Like hundreds of workshops of the period, it bought its movements from ébauche makers, its cases and dials from other specialists, and signed the whole with its name, beneath a stylised crown. It is chosen for its design, not for its signature.
What is a TV case?
A case with rounded angles that echoes the design of 1970s television screens, between square and cushion-shaped. Here, it is worn horizontally: 31mm wide by 28mm high, which gives the watch a short presence on the wrist and a strong frontal presence.
Is the strap original?
Yes: the black leather and its Buckle are those with which the watch was sold, which is rare. It is sized for small wrists; the 15mm Lug width allows another to be fitted in order to preserve it.
Has the movement been checked?
Yes. Our partner watchmakers have checked the 17-jewel movement, the dial, the hands and the case; it is guaranteed for one year. A hand-wound watch is wound daily, and a vintage watch is not guaranteed water-resistant.
Is this piece suitable for a slim wrist?
Yes, that is its purpose: at 31mm wide, 28mm Lug-to-lug and 8.3mm thick, it suits wrists of approximately 13 to 16cm — a guide, never a rule: everyone wears what they like. Its original strap is sized for a small wrist; the Lug width measures 15mm.

After-sales service is free. Shipping fees outside the United Arab Emirates remain the responsibility of the customer.

Each watch is examined by our partner watchmakers before being offered for sale: verification of authenticity, checking the conformity of the components, identification of any modification or replacement of original parts.
If any element has been replaced during the life of the watch (dial, hands, crown, Crystal, strap), we systematically indicate it in the product sheet. You buy knowing the exact history of your piece.
