The 31 mm round case is 5.3 mm thick. Its steel bezel bears the twelve engraved Roman numerals that serve as hour markers: the dial is thus left clear. The brushed case middle extends seamlessly into the bracelet, whose first links follow the lugs. The steel caseback bears the piece's reference.
The silver dial features a sunburst finish that shifts with the light, framed by an inner railway minute track. Two blued steel sword hands and a blued centre seconds hand ensure legibility. The Cartier signature is printed below 12 o'clock; no date window.
The movement is a Cartier quartz, as on the entire 21 line. The fluted crown, topped with a blue cabochon, sits within the case middle at 3 o'clock. The serial number places production in the 1990s.
The watch is fitted on its original steel bracelet, with brushed and polished links, closed by its original Buckle. With 34.3 mm of Lug-to-lug, it can be worn on a man's wrist as well as on a woman's wrist.
